About the Artist

Fiona and blue scarfMy name is Fiona Stolze and I’m the artist behind the silk wearables and mandala wall art you can see on these pages. I’m self taught and have developed my style over the past 14 years.

I love really vibrant colours and movement in my images and enjoy exploring different techniques, especially batik in more recent times, sharing each step in my blog as I go.

I’d love you to browse the different categories of my work and see what sort of projects I’ve been working on over the years. I’ve included an extensive slideshow as well as an animated video of a selection of my mandala images.

My repertoire includes colourful bespoke silk scarves, bright stretched and embellished silk mandala pictures on chunky frames, mandala cushions, commissioned personalised mandala paintings, chakra wall hangings and many more items. Make sure you visit my silk shop to see the full range.

More recently I have explored creating bespoke silk yardage so if there is anything at all you would love me to create for you, please contact me at info@silkandart.com and I’ll be sure to respond swiftly and set things in motion for you.

There are also silk painting workshops on offer as well as silk painting kits and dvds and you can hire me to give you personalised online tuition as well.

And I’m delighted to be able to combine my silk art work with the personalised readings I give people. You can order personalised mandala paintings together with a reading and very soon now I will also have my own Mandala Oracle deck on offer for you too. So watch this space.

So be sure to click on the various tabs along the top of this page to see the full range of products and services I offer.
